ArchimedICT is a very nice local IT integration company. Many of ArchimedICT’s customers are in the world of media and sports. I helped them finish a project called ‘KNVB Dataservice’, Some of my colleagues had very nice words for my efforts on that project:
Ben ten Holder (Project Manager): I worked together with Fred Leeflang at Archimedict BV during the period May 2012 to April 2013.
I have become to know Fred as a smart go-getter who is able to bring complex issues to a successful conclusion. A 9 to 5 mentality is strange to him, you can call on him at any time. Fred works from a clear vision, but is flexible enough to adjust it if he is convinced by valid arguments. In short, a very enjoyable sparring partner and colleague to work with and to exchange views with.
Dennis Stevens (Owner): Fred is a dedicated architect who knows what he is doing. He knows about the latest available open source software and how to use it on high traffic websites. Fred does’n have a 9 to 5 mentality, which is very important for our business. He has the ability to solve the issues that usually appear when you are using new software.
Mario de Best (Owner): I’ve come to know Fred as a professional with an outstanding urge and will to resolve problems. He is faithful and reliable with a knowledge background to create solutions for existing and upcoming problems.
IRDeto is a company that specializes in security and fighting cybercrime. Many people may know them from their set-top box chips. Every set-top box communicates over the internet with IRDeto’s server backend and causes events to trigget all sorts of actions. As a Linux specialist I helped them redo some of their functionality from an expensive and obsolete appliance to a modern opensource solution. Some of my colleagues were kind enough to recommend me:
Column McNamara (Technical Operations and Support Director): Fred worked with the Network Operations department for 3 months and completed a stellar job in migrating and setting up various platforms for us. His ability to work across Linux and Windows platforms was excellent and was always there to help out on questions, comments and issues.
Softlayer, currently “IBM Cloud”, is a very large cloud hosting company. I worked there as ACS (Advanced Customer Support) engineer dealing with some of the hardest problems I have found in my entire career. Some of my colleagues and customers have been kind enough to recommend me.
Ralph Bateman, FCBS (Distinguished Engineer at IBM): Fred is an excellent engineer.
His diagnosis skills with networking and Linux are very advanced as is his determination to find the resolution to the problem.
Ilias Tsompanidis (Network Engineer at IBM): I have worked with Fred on a number of cases, dealing with a variety of datacenter connectivity issues.
Fred has been a absolute delight to work with. He went above and beyond to dig into the problems at hand, and pursued all avenues of troubleshooting.
