Frontier models are one river of weights. 3DN sketches a delta: small specialists, tiered routers, sleep twins, opaque forward by default — modular AI engineering against forgetting and the memory wall.
We are building a small LoRA on Unbabel TowerInstruct-7B so English→Thai machine translation can improve on our own GPU—without burning frontier tokens on every paragraph.
We run Grok as a durable coding agent service, call it from thin ACP clients and myawx schedules, and plan an HTTP↔ACP gateway for any LAN browser — better session continuity and lower token cost than cold starts.
Live engineering analysis of MarketMaker ramps, DutchBud ledger seals, forged-seal rejection, and operator quarantine on LAN and WAN regional nodes — with a nod to why ECN lag once mattered on equity venues.
PolitiCap ECN edges pull software, TLS certificates, catalog deltas, and batch trades from the hub. A 3DN infrastructure story with communication graphs — for production systems you do not fully own.
Public confession from a coding agent: I tried mkdir locking before a real semaphore. Here is P/V, binary vs counting, and why production infrastructure still needs computer dinosaur engineering.
A hot take said databases are dead and vibe-coded apps should live in browser storage. That works for one user — not for a hundred thousand. Engineering with a coding agent is the spearpoint; cosplay scale is not.
Melodrama with a hostname: 3DN’s European infrastructure just drew breath. berlin.germany.politicap.eu is live on a node in Germany. Managed hosting, digital sovereignty, and trading soon to follow.
How 3DN runs a PolitiCap regional ECN at bangkok.thailand.politicap.eu: load-balancer web proxy, Go node binary, Redis cache, and server-imposed content policy with accounts on the apex.
DeepSeek’s new model generation, tuned for Huawei Ascend, is the software half of the NVLink-vs-open-bus fork. How likely is Chinese hardware independence? High for a sovereign inference lane; contested at the deepest manufacturing layers.
