Something new is landing at 3DN. Signing up with us will no longer be only about ordering a virtual server. We are opening a simpler door into the 3DN family — and when you walk through it, you will also receive a DutchBud account with a welcome stack of virtual credits.
What you get when you sign up
- A 3DN identity — the same Authentik-backed world we already use across the family of sites.
- A DutchBud account at bank.dutchie.org — created for you automatically.
- 1000 DBB (Ƀ) credited on successful signup completion — a welcome balance of virtual credits.
DutchBud credits are a closed-loop virtual unit inside our ecosystem (hosting appetizers, experiments, and partner apps). They are not cash-out fiat. Full wording lives in the DutchBud terms.
Hidden objectives — extra Ƀ for the curious
The welcome thousand is only the start. We are wiring hidden objectives into the experience: things you already might do while reading, building, or poking around — that quietly unlock additional DBB when you are signed in.
We will not print the full quest list here. That would spoil the fun. A few truths we will say out loud:
- Objectives are earned, not bought.
- Some are tied to how you explore content and the wider 3DN surface.
- You need to be signed in for rewards to land in your DutchBud wallet.
- Ops can add, pause, or rebalance objectives over time — the catalogue is meant to grow.

Status right now
This post is the announcement. The public signup path, automatic DutchBud provisioning, and the first reward objectives are being switched on in stages:
- Now — you are reading the sticky; the idea is public.
- Live — general signup on 3dn.nl (Authentik), DutchBud wallet + 1000 Ƀ on completion.
- Then — hidden objectives start paying extra DBB (including engagement-style goals you may already have felt in analytics).
Hosting customers who come in through the existing virtual-server intake will get the same DutchBud welcome when their identity is provisioned — one wallet per person, no double minting.
What to do
The door is open: Sign up / log in. If you already use DutchBud via another 3DN family product, you are ahead of the curve — same rail, same Ƀ.
